- Identify and explain the organization of the Executive: The EOP is made up of four agencies that advise the president in key policy areas: The White House Office, National Security Council, Council of Economic Advisers, and the Office of Management and Budget.
- Identify and provide an example of the powers of the Executive, both formal and informal: Formal powers of the executive branch, are powers that are issued to the executive branch in the second article of the constitution. Informal powers are powers that are implied are not necessarily documented in a document. (Formal)veto power, command armed forces, pardoning power, appointment powers, make treaties, and convene Congress. (Informal) The power to go public, power of persuasion, make executive agreements, issue executive orders, issue signing statements, create and use bureaucracy, personality and showmanship of leadership, and to create legislative proposals. One key thing to remember is that informal powers especially grow during times of war.
- Identify and explain how Executive shares powers with the Congress, Judiciary, and bureaucracy: The executive powers share powers with the Congress through the vetoing of bills. Congress is capable of impeachment of the president. Between the judiciary branch, POTUS can select the justices who determine the constitutionality of his/her actions. And with the bureaucracy aspect of this, the president is capable of appointing cabinet members of his department.
- Discuss the implications of Executive sharing powers with each of the following: Congress, Judiciary, and bureaucracy: Because the executive branch has to share powers with other branches (meaning not to become the most dominant power in the government) this allows an equal amount of equality and less of a chance of dictatorship from sole group of people. #oligarchy

- Identify how the power of the Executive has/may evolve gradually: The power of the executive order has grown gradually due to events in the past that influenced how the executive order was to enforce its laws not just upon the American people, but to keep it virtues all over the world.
- Identify how the power of the Executive has/may changes dramatically as a result of crisis: As a result of a crisis, the power of the Executive may increase due to attacking more issues of a crisis w/o the consent of Congress. Such acts include the War Powers Act of 1973, which gave the president the power to prep of the country for war and monitor communications between foreign countries or allies of the U.S.
- Identify and discuss the ties between the Executive and political parties: The ties between the Executive and the political party or fairly direct. When a president had to ran for elections, he/she had to represent a political party. This gave them background ideals on what they support and bicker upon in terms of the ideals they represented within that political party. Through representing that party once elected, the president tends to pass bills that favors those party political ideals and ideologies.

- Identify and discuss the ties between the Executive and media: The media tends to be more negative or I should say, "acts as a watch dog" over the president. Then again the media can be good to the president, if that president met the conditions and terms needed to move the country forward that were promised during he/she's election campaigns.
- Identify and discuss the ties between the Executive and state and local governments: Through each state or local government there is a governor that represents them for the federal government.
